Itinerary
Day 1: An Incredible Evening In Varanasi
  • Reach Delhi airport early morning to board the coach for Lucknow. Upon arrival, our tour guide will meet you at the Lucknow Railway Station. Board the cab for a 3h 55 mins drive to Shravasti. Our tour guide will drop you comfortably at your hotel in Shravasti. Complete the check-in formalities, relax, and enjoy some tasty meal in the hotel. Have a comfortable stay and spend a restful night at the hotel to prepare for the next day.

Day 2: A Mesmerising Tour of Shravasti
  • Wake up early in the morning and enjoy a lovely breakfast in the hotel. Complete your check-out formalities before you embark on a blissful journey of Shravasti. We will visit the Maheth or the Angulimal Caves and the Saheth or the Jet Vanaram. Shravasti is dotted with various important Buddhist monuments including Jetavana Vihara, Buddhist Monasteries, Ananda Bodhi tree, Anathapindika Stupa, and Angulimala Stupa.
  • We will continue our journey with a 5-hour drive to Lumbini, the birthplace of Lord Buddha. For visiting Lumbini, you will require a double entry visa for India along with a single entry visa for Nepal. Your tour guide will drop you comfortably at your hotel. Complete your check-in formalities, enjoy a refreshing dinner, and spend a restful night at the hotel.

Day 3: Visiting The Amazing Lumbini
  • Start early with a lovely breakfast at the hotel. Complete your check-out formalities and board the cab for a fascinating spiritual tour of Lumbini. Explore the holy birthplace of Prince Siddhartha Gautama who became Lord Buddha after a spiritual awakening. Explore the important emblems of Buddhism in Lumbini including the Thai Buddhist Monastery, Myanmar Golden temple, Eternal Peace Flame, Maya Devi temple, and Lumbini Museum.
  • Our spiritual journey will continue with a 4-hour drive to Kushinagar. On reaching your hotel, complete your check-in formalities, have a lovely dinner and stay in the hotel at night for a restful sleep.

Day 4: Exploring Kushinagar
  • Wake up early and have a marvellous breakfast at the hotel. Complete your check-out formalities and board the cab to explore Kushinagar - the place where Lord Buddha attained Mahaparinirvana. We will visit the Mahaparinirvana Temple where Lord Buddha took his last breath. We will also visit the Ramabhar Stupa which is the cremation site of Lord Buddha. The Japan temple is another important monument worth visiting for its fascinating artistry.
  • In the afternoon, we will drive to Patna via Kesaria. It will take around 3-hours to reach Kesaria where we will visit the Kesaria Stupa, one of the biggest ancient Buddhist emblem. Later we will have a 2-hour drive to Vaishali for visiting some more, important Buddhist monuments including Buddha Stupa, Abhishek Pushkaran, Kutagar Shala Vihara, Ananda Stupa, and Ashokan Pillar.
  • Our journey will continue with a 1-hour drive to Patna. We will drop you comfortably at your hotel in Patna. Complete your check-in formalities, enjoy a stomach-full dinner, and rest for the night in the hotel.

Day 5: A Memorable Visit To Nalanda
  • Start early with a marvellous breakfast at the hotel. Complete your check-out formalities and board the c ab for a 2-hour 50 mins drive to Nalanda. On reaching Nalanda, we will visit the Nalanda University Archeological Complex. After exploring the ruins, we will visit the Chinese Pagoda famously known as the Xuanzang Memorial.
  • Our journey continues with an hour drive to Rajgir which was the capital of ancient Magadha Kingdom. The Japanese Buddhists have built a massive World Peace Stupa in the Ratnagiri Hills with the statues of Lord Buddha. The statues represent the four stages in the life of Lord Buddha including his birth, enlightenment, preachings, and death. We will also visit the Griddhakuta or the Vulture Peak where Lord Buddha rested to deliver his preachings. Later, we will visit the Bimbisar Prison and the Venuvanam.
  • After a mesmerising tour of Rajgir, we will proceed for a 2-hour drive to Bodhgaya. We will drop you comfortably at your hotel in Bodhgaya. Complete your check-in formalities, have a lovely dinner, and rest for the night in the hotel.

Day 6: An Amazing Journey To Bodhgaya
  • Start early with a marvellous breakfast at the hotel to embark on a spiritual journey of Bodhgaya. We will visit magnificent Buddhist monuments in Bodhgaya including the Mahabodhi temple, Buddhist Monasteries, and the Bodhi tree under which Lord Buddha attained enlightenment. The Mahabodhi Temple has been declared as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. We will also visit amazing world-famous Buddhist pilgrimage places nearby the Bodhi tree.
  • Our spiritual tour will continue with a visit to the Dungeshwari Cave Temple also called the Mahakala Caves. Lord Buddha stayed here for years of penance before descending to Bodhgaya. Later, we will visit the Sujata Village Temple.
  • Towards dusk, we will drop you at your hotel in Bodhgaya for a well-rested night.

Day 7: An Incredible Evening In Varanasi
  • Start early, have a quick breakfast and complete your check-in formalities. Board the cab for a 6-hour drive to Varanasi. You will be transferred to your hotel in Varanasi. Complete the check-in formalities, relax for some time before you head out to explore the beautiful city. Soak in the spiritual vibes of the city at the vibrant Ganga ghats. In the evening, we will attend the fascinating Ganga Aarti at the Dashashwamedh Ghat. Capture the glimpse various religious activities and culturally diverse social gatherings at the Ganga Ghat. Enjoy the rhythmic incantation of the sacred Vedic hymn to worship river Ganga. The experience fills every soul with elation, enlightenment, and spirituality. At night, we will drop you at the hotel for a restful sleep.

Day 8: A Mesmerising Tour of Varanasi
  • Wake up early in the morning and enjoy a lovely breakfast before you embark on a spiritual tour of Varanasi. Our tour guide will take you to the Ganga ghat for an amazing boat ride. Known by the name Subah-e-Banaras, the mesmerising morning boat ride will introduce you to the mystical spiritual activities and religious rituals performed at the Ganga Ghats. We will visit important ghats of Varanasi each of which has a unique value and a history of its own.
  • In the afternoon, we will embark on an excursion to Sarnath. A holy place where the disciples of Lord Buddha received their very first sermon from him at the Rishipattana or the Deer Park. Sarnath has various historical wonders including the Buddha Temples, Chaukhandi Stupa, Dhamekha Stupa, Archeological Museum, and the Mulagandha Kuti Vihara. In the evening, we will return to the hotel for a restful sleep.

Day 9: Departure From Varanasi
  • Start your day with a delicious breakfast and complete your check-out formalities. Board the cab to reach Lal Bahadur Shastri Varanasi Airport for your return journey. Depart from Varanasi with a reminiscence of Buddhist history and numerous blissful memories of your trip.
