Itinerary
Day 1: A Lovely Evening In Chennai
- Upon arrival, our expert guide will meet you at the Chennai airport to drop you comfortably at your hotel. Once done with the check-in formalities, relax, unwind, and enjoy some tasty meal in the hotel before heading out to explore the spiritual town.
- Chennai serves as a gateway to South India. It is one of the oldest Southern cities established by the East India Company. Enjoy a restful sleep at night in the hotel.

Day 2: A Mesmerising Tour Of Chennai
- Wake up early in the morning and enjoy a lovely breakfast in the hotel before you board the cab for a sightseeing tour of the city. We will start our tour with a visit to the Gandhi Memorial, a museum dedicated to Mahatma Gandhi.
- Our journey will continue with a visit to Kalakshetra, a culture and arts academy dedicated to preserving traditional art, craft, Bharatnatyam dance form, and Gandharva Veda music.
- In the evening, we will visit the Mylapore temple also known by the name Kapaleeshwarar temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva followed by some relaxing hours at the Marina beach. Towards the night, we will drop you to your hotel for a restful sleep.

Day 3: Journey To Tirupati
- Start early and have a marvellous breakfast at the hotel. Board the cab for a 3 hour 30 minutes drive to Tirupati which is a small religious town famous for the ancient temple of Balaji or Lord Venkateswara. The temple is located at a height of 860 mt atop the Tirumala hills. The temple is believed to be the oldest and the richest in South India. According to legends, Lord Venkateswara borrowed some money from Lord Kubera, the divine treasurer to pay his wedding expenses. It is believed that Lord Venkateswara is still paying back his debts to Kubera in the form of the generous donations of the pilgrims received by the temple funds.
- Towards the evening, we will drive back to your hotel in Chennai for a restful overnight stay.

Day 4: An Amazing Visit To Kanchipuram
- Start your day with a lovely breakfast at the hotel. Quickly complete your check-out formalities and board the cab for an amazing visit to Kanchipuram. The city is primarily known as an ancient capital of the Pallava dynasty. The city has 1000 ancient temples and 124 shrines. The oldest temple dedicated to Lord Shiva was constructed during the 7th and 8th century. Its walls are adorned with beautiful paintings.
- We will visit some important temples in the city including the Ekambareswarar temple, Kailasanatha temple, Sri Kamakshi Devi temple, and the Varadarajaswamy temple. Enjoy a delectable lunch at a local restaurant. You can also shop the famous Kanchipuram silk in the city.
- Towards the evening, we will drive to Mahabalipuram and drop you comfortably at your hotel. Complete the check-in formalities and enjoy a restful night at the hotel in Mahabalipuram.

Day 5: Exploring Mahabalipuram
- Enjoy a marvellous breakfast at the hotel and board the cab for a mesmerising tour of the town. Constructed during the 7th century, Mahabalipuram once served as an ancient Pallava port. Today, the town is home to antique sculptural marvels cut-out from the rocks almost 1200 years back by the Pallava Kings.
- Mahabalipuram is dotted with beautiful shrines constructed during the reign of the Pallavas. The shrines have amazing rock carvings that depict mythological episodes of the battle between the Gods, demons, and animals. We will visit the spectacular two-spire shrine that houses unique idols of Lord Vishnu and Lord Shiva in the sanctum-sanctorum. In the evening, we will drop you to your hotel for a well-rested night.

Day 6: A Trip To Pondicherry
- Start early and have a marvellous breakfast at the hotel. Complete your check-out formalities and board the cab for a 3-hour drive to the ancient Tiruvannamalai temple and pilgrim centre dedicated to Lord Shiva. Enjoy a lovely lunch at a local restaurant.
- Our spiritual journey of the South will continue with a trip to Pondicherry. During the 3-hour 30-minutes drive to Pondicherry, you will observe the French influence in India. According to ancient legends, St. Agastya settled in Pondicherry. We will drop you at your hotel in Pondicherry. Complete your check-in formalities and enjoy a restful night in the hotel.

Day 7: Exploring Pondicherry
- Start your day with a lovely breakfast at the hotel and board the cab for a 10-km drive to Aurobindo Ashram also known by the name - the city of dawn. The ashram promotes preachings and ideas of Aurobindo by combining concepts of modern science and synthesis of Yoga. Enjoy a delicious lunch in the afternoon.
- Towards the evening, we will visit Auroville, a place experimenting with international living. You will be mesmerised to see how men and women from different origin and nationality live in harmony together in the Auroville. At night, we will drop you back to your hotel for a restful sleep.

Day 8: Exploring Flavors of South in Chidambaram
- Start early and enjoy a marvellous breakfast at the hotel. Complete your check-out formalities and board the cab for a 1-hour 30-minutes drive to Chidambaram, also famous by the name Thillai. The centre of the town has an ancient Nataraja temple. The roof of the sanctum-sanctorum of the temple is covered with beautiful golden plates. The temple premises span an area of about 40 acres. You can find various ancient sculptures inside the temple depicting different postures from the Bharatnatyam dance form. Nataraja is believed to be the idol of Lord Shiva depicted as a cosmic dancer.
- In the afternoon, enjoy lunch at a local restaurant and board the cab for a 3-hour drive to Tanjore. Enroute we will visit the Brass factory located in Kumbakonam. Tanjore serves as a capital of the Chola Kings in ancient times. It has the famous big temple of Gods called the Brihadeshwara Temple. The tower of the temple rises from a 29 mt high square base reaching to a height of about 15 mt and then tapering off. The total height of the tower is about 66 mt.
- Towards the evening, we will drop you comfortably to your hotel in Tanjore. Enjoy a well-rested night at the hotel.

Day 9: Journey From Tanjore to Trichy
- Wake up early in the morning and quickly complete your check-out formalities. Board the cab for a 2-hours drive to Trichy or Tiruchirapalli. It is a beautiful pilgrim centre located at the banks of river Kaveri that offers a perfect blend of tradition and history.
- We will visit the famous Ranganatha temple located in Srirangam. After an amazing visit to the temple, we will drop you at your hotel. Complete your check-in formalities and rest for a while before commencing on another trip through the city.
- We will visit the Rock Fort temple located at a height of 23 mt. In the evening, we will visit Srirangam and Jambukeshwar temple. At night, we will drop you back to your hotel for a restful sleep.

Day 10: A Memorable Trip To Madurai
- Start your day with a lovely breakfast at the hotel and quickly complete your check-out formalities. Board the cab for a 3-hour 30-minutes drive to Madurai. We will drop you to your hotel in Madurai. Complete your check-in formalities and take some rest before heading out to explore the ancient city. It is believed to be established before 2600 years near the banks of Vaigai river as a flower of Lotus with Meenakshi temple at its core.
- Enjoy an appetizing lunch at the hotel. After lunch, we will visit some important historical monuments including the Meenakshi temple, Mariamman Teppakulam, King Tirumala Palace, and Alagar Kovil. At night, we will drop you back to your hotel for a restful sleep.

Day 11: Journey To Rameshwaram
- Enjoy a lovely breakfast at the hotel and board the cab for a mesmerising 3-hour drive to Rameshwaram. It is an epic and sacred temple town that has a mention in the holy book Ramayana. It is believed that Lord Rama visited the island before commencing to Sri Lanka for the epic battle. According to anecdotes, Lord Rama sent his faithful Hanumana to bring a Linga from Mount Kailash for worshipping after defeating Ravana. When Hanuman didn’t return within the auspicious hour, Devi Sita made a Linga from sand to perform the puja ritual on time. The Ramanatha Swamy Temple is located at the place on the island towards the east near the sea. It is amongst the 12 popular Jyotirlinga Shrines known for its massive sculptured pillars and magnificent corridors. Towards the night, we will return to your hotel in Madurai for a relaxing sleep.

Day 12: An Awe-inspiring Visit To Kanyakumari
- Start your day with a lovely breakfast at the hotel and quickly complete your check-out formalities. Board the cab for a 7-hour drive to Kanyakumari. It is the place of confluence for the Indian Ocean, Bay of Bengal, and the Arabian Sea where the land of India ends. Kanyakumari is amongst the important pilgrim centres of India. The place is famous for its Amman Temple dedicated to Goddess Kanya Kumari or the virgin Goddess. It symbolises unification and sanctitude.
- Towards the South of the temple is located the Vivekananda Rock Memorial. It is a place where Indian Saint Vivekananda meditated before proceeding towards the West for propagating Hinduism. We will also visit the Thiruvalluvar memorial dedicated to the Tamil saint who wrote Thirukkural, a composition comprised of 1330 verses about better living.
- Spend a lovely evening watching the beautiful sunset at the Southern tip of India where the 3 popular seas meet. At night, we will drop you to your hotel in Kanyakumari for a restful sleep. Complete your check-in formalities and enjoy a well-rested night at the hotel.

Day 13: A Soulful Journey To Trivandrum
- Start your morning with a beautiful view of the sunrise from the hotel terrace. Complete your check-out formalities and board the cab for a 2-hour drive to Trivandrum. Enroute we will visit Suchindram and Padmanabhapuram Palace.
- We will visit the Padmanabhaswamy temple, the city palace museum, and the palace in Trivandrum. After a 40-minutes drive, we will reach Kovalam and drop you comfortably to your hotel. Complete your check-in formalities and enjoy a restful night at the hotel.
